Official Launch Of Saias

Citizens Advice Portsmouth (CAP) has expanded its immigration services through a new Social Enterprise model called Southern Affordable Immigration Advice Service (SAIAS).

CAP can offer the provision of a low-cost, self-sustainable, fee-paying immigration service designed to support asylum and immigration clients while maintaining free advice services.

Portsmouth is a designated asylum cluster area, where demand continues rising. In the last two years we have seen an increase of 70 per cent in immigration clients. The revenue from paid services will be reinvested into existing charitable programs.

SAIAS officially launched on 12 May 2023, marking a significant expansion of our capacity to serve the community's immigration needs.
